All of these are relatively recent changes: People used to hire people to wake them up before alarm clocks. Milk used to be delivered to your door because people didnt all have refrigerators. People used to stand in elevators to tell them what floor to go to. People used to manually place every bowling pin and send the ball back. People not that long ago would have to manually clean streets. Every word on a printed document used to have to put on there by a professional.
