So, maybe I'm a homer here, but I honestly don't feel that hit was THAT bad. Richards was already skating at him. Couture was protecting the puck. What exactly is Richards SUPPOSED to do in that situation. I mean yeah, he hit him from behind BECAUSE Couture was putting his back between Richards and the puck. What else can Richards do? Attempt to stop all his momentum, come to a complete stop, and wait for Couture to make a play?
