i thought i could get a head start on my garden, and plant some things in january. nope.
then i replanted everything in feburary. nope.
then again in early march. nope.

wasted 2 packs of corn. they all just rotted in the soil. it was simply too cold. same with my tomatoes. they germinated, but never grew true leaves. for 2 months!!!

this past wednesday i planted all my varieties of tomatoes i want: roma, cherry, black beauty, cherokee purple, and a variety that i got from a tomato from the grocery store that grew MASSIVE tomatoes. i dunno if the last one is true to type so we'll see what i get. i also replanted the corn. about 60 uh what are they called, plugs?

and today, i started some peas, dwarf sunflowers, nasturtium, and i transplanted some strawberries i bought from Lowe's. i orignally wanted to start the strawberries from seed, but i literally planted the entire package and none grew, then did research and yeah, no one bothers growing it from seed lmao. oops.

my wife wanted to get in on the garden business so i got some perennial wildflower seed mix and she planted them all in this area of the garden that has the worst soil and gets the least amount of sun. i grew a single butternut squash there last year. just one. sad. so i figure flowers would be best there, and plus the flowers will attract bees and we could always use more pollinators.

ITS SPRING YEAH
