i remember when everybody was doing pokemon tournaments

without them holostars mightn't have finally got momentum (the collab tourneys with hololive were the only streams that got any real views a year ago)

there was that nijisanji one that was frickin huge at the time (maybe the first one to be considered a "major" niji tourney in today's standards since it was like 70k viewers on the main stream), and the upd8 ones were pretty good too
