Like, there are a bunch of little self-contained adventures, and they are all cool and fun, but I'm like 3/4 of the way in and haven't really seen much of an overarching goal or plot other than surviving all the shenanigans. I like the writing style and world, so I'll probably continue, but it's a big shift from all the grand sweeping mostly-serious epics I've been listening to this whole time. Sidenote 1: I love any time that a non-American does an American accent. Sidenote 2: I wonder how I'd like Piers Anthony these days. I read a few of his a long time ago and I have had him and Pratchett conflated ever since. I feel like that's kinda fair. Gloomhaven: OK, cleared the little mini-tutorial this time, and we're off to the races. It's struggling at a non-fullscreen resolution, and also trying to run the same time as a TEW sim with no plug >_> IDW Sonic- Tangle & Whisper: I still really really love these two. Trauma! Bonding! Friendship! Anxiety! Personality dynamics not dissimilar to my marriage! In the side stories, I'm still not used to Silver being a dork lol. Trails: I wasn't expecting a regular ol' peeping tom, but I also wasn't expecting Sheep Voltron. Guess that's our requisite relatively tame hot springs scene quota out of the way! Also knocked out an extermination and found all the orbment parts. One more extermination and then we get to do plot things! MLP 9-23- The Big Mac Question: Solid! I'm always a fan of a good proposal or wedding, and this was a heckin cute one. Also always a fan of a good Discord episode.
