| skullbone 03/17/21 8:36:58 PM #3: | The new rewards system is unquestionably better except for the people who spend 5 hours a day grinding out max gold from the old system. They did have to revamp some of the numbers from the initial release but it's in a pretty good spot right now. If you're starting at 0 gold I think you could get about 8K to 10K by the time the next expansion drops from the new reward system. Not sure how much you've been following the Core Set but they're basically giving everyone 235 cards (mix of new, wild, and classic cards) for free. The free core set will rotate each year so they'll swap about 30 cards in/out to mix up the standard format (on top of the expansions). The new expansion drops on the 30th so it might be a good time to hop back in if you're interested but if you ultimately left because of the F2P experience then I don't know if it's really improved enough to justify coming back. --- skull ...
