On the one hand, it flows well and is sufficiently entertaining and lets us interact with some underrepresented characters. It is also sufficiently forgiving and rewards time spent with useful character items. On the other hand, we are splitting reality into a number of parallel dimensions where we remember all the things we did and didn't do, but the character we focus on can not. Which path is canonical? Are any of them? Are all of them? Can there be any future progression beyond this point? Will Noelle ever learn what love is? It certainly works in a meta sense, and helps us see characters function in varying situations beyond action rpg combat. The whole fractured reality bit is something my brain is gonna focus on as I try to go to sleep though... --- There is no shame in not knowing; the shame lies in not finding out ...
