In that case, it stands to reason Gary is likewise one tier below both Ash and Blue. I'm also skeptical about how much new non-video game media matters on this site, given the insularity Para and I both hit upon. That especially applies to Harley Quinn, as I think neither her new show nor her DCCU appearances are particularly popular even in broader nerd culture, let alone here. Second re-ranking Gandalf. The latter is much more fertile ground for superheroes and star wars - the former is not.I naturally agree with this, as I said in the B8 discord. For what it's worth, I believe all the character contests we've had have been referred to as "character battles". That seems like a pretty neutral framing for broader fictional characters on its own, though our history of video game-exclusive character contests might independently skew voters. I tend to think our existing ratings have aligned somewhere between that neutrality and the favorability of something like "all-fictional character battle", and I'm unsure whether that should actually be the case. --- "I believe in a universe that doesn't care and people who do."
