Some of the level structure is slightly different in some of the levels. The Base levels, Level 2 and 4, has a time limit. You gotta destroy the cores quick before time runs out. You only get 3 continues. It doesn't matter how many credits you put in. This is one of those rare instances where NES > Arcade version.
