I think 10k is reasonable You mean it's a big burden because they don't have the income to pay it? And student loan forgiveness is a bad idea unless it's paired with a radical overhaul of federal student loan lending. Otherwise, colleges will use it as an invitation to raise their tuitions. The government's going to forgive 50k?
