GOGZero 02/16/21 2:28:06 AM #118: | Battle Circuit (Switch/Arcade) Replayed via the Capcom Beat Em' Up Bundle and played online with a friend. We switched it up a little with different characters compared to who we normally play as (I'm usually Cyber Blue and he usually plays Yellow Iris). I was Captain Silver and he played Pink Ostrich. We also did the requirements to fight the true final boss. This game is always a blast to play. Being able to upgrade your character to get new moves in between the stages is always satisfying and this was Capcom's swan song of the 2D Beat Em' Up from the Arcade. A must play for anyone that enjoys beat em' ups. Contra (Switch/Famicom) Replayed Contra NES for the umpteenth time via the Contra Anniversary Collection. This time around, I opted to play the Famicom version. It was pretty cool to experience this one for myself the first time around and it has some neat things going for it compared to the version most of us played over in the west. https://tcrf.net/Contra_(NES) ^ A lot of interesting differences Tuff E Nuff (Switch/SNES) Ancient replay. I remember renting this game back in the day. This was the fighting game you had to rent over the weekend when they didn't have Street Fighter II/Mortal Kombat. So this game...is pretty generic. Story is nothing to write home about. There are two things this game did have that was sorta neat that not many fighting games at the time had that made it different and separated it from the pack of fighters out there.
