Also, what form are the yeerks supposed to have taken? If they morphed andalites they would have seen it as a violation as well as many other species. Not to mention if they escape in the two hours before becoming a nothlit, you now have a rogue yeerk capable of all kinds of madness. The yeerks weren't the bad guys for wanting bodies and sight, they were the bad guys because of their actions.
