Well given that the rest of the thread is cut off above that post I can't answer why he brought up single sex parents, but in the part we DO see not only does he explicitly say he supports same sex and single parents can successfully raise a child (leaving me to believe half this topic posted without actually clicking on the image), but he then goes on to say that he strives to be a source of paternal love.
