(6)Mance Rayder - Does Taena do anything interesting or say anything interesting at any point?
(22)Olenna Redwyne - Oberyn is awesome and I expect he wins, but the Queen of Thorns deserves some respect.
(3)Theon Greyjoy - Balon is one-dimensional, unlikeable but not really worth detesting. Theon is both likeable AND worth detesting, with neither of those being his primary role in the series. He was by far the best part of ADwD for me. Easiest choice of the round, methinks.
(19)Grey Worm - Ilyn never really interested me except as a sparring partner for Jaime. Grey Worm is a really unique, interesting character.
(26)Syrio Forel - Aegon's perfectly fine, but Syrio steals the show in practically no scenes. Highly impressive.
(10)Gregor Clegane - Rodrik is a brilliant character, but the Mountain is a strong contender for most detestable character in the series and I appreciate that!
(2)Catelyn Tully Stark - Tormund is underseeded in the extreme here, but Catelyn is too strong and multi-dimensional to vote against here for me.
(18)Strong Belwas - Sorry, don't care about Meera the same way I don't care about Jojen.
