Fulbright wonders aloud with us why a prisoner is being allowed to serve as a prosecutor. He quotes Blackquill as having said, "The hunt I've been on for the phantom of seven years past continues even still." Funky. Apparently that's when he was found guilty of murder, and Blackquill believes this 'phantom' is behind this case as well. There are some parallels - both happening at the Space Center, both being warned of in advance by telephone...Fulbright worries that it might lead to a false conviction. The Mediterranean-sounding gondola music does detract a little from this part. Pfffff. Not gonna lie, I didn't really like Fulbright all this time, but hearing him go on about reforming Blackquill and returning him to a valued member of society, fighting so Blackquill won't give in to his baser instincts and emotions... It's pretty heartwarming. He's still a big derp, but I will now accept Det. Fulbright as a spiritual successor of sorts to my beloved Gumshoe. We go to find an eyewitness near the Entrance. It's...a robot? Instead of the little bust that Ponco had, we have two vertical bumps on our chest. This one's named Clonco, full of bugs and issues. A sharp-looking lady comes over, chops Clonco in the head calling him "Hunk of Junk", and proceeds to introduce herself as... Aura Blackquill?! She's a firm believer in the virtues of percussive maintenance. It turns out Simon Blackquill's her little brother. Goodness, I think I'm going to fall in love with the whole family. Don't show me their dad. Please, have mercy. Aura doesn't have any problem telling us what we want to know, but the 3DS needs charging. We'll find out what she has to say next time!
