My personal theory is that it's because it's short (so easier to work with all around) and because it basically already has the entire video premade for you. Bonus points for that video making a very striking youtube thumbnail I'm not a super big fan of it either but I thought towa's version of it was pretty great --- THIS IS WHAT I HATE A BOUT EVREY WEBSITE!!
