I've got some pretty left-leaning colleagues from work as Facebook friends, and they sometimes mention their friends, pets, or hobbies. I've got family members who'd post pictures of their kids doing something or another in or around their homes. It's not unreasonable to expect someone who normally posted about their family to mention them at least once over the course of a year.

What I'm saying is that this was a radical shift in behavior. I'm a little concerned.
