| yusiko 02/02/21 9:35:03 AM #11: | i dont like final guys in horror movies mainly because writers are afraid of letting them be scared or vulnerable the friday has 2 films in it with a male protagonist hence a final guy tommy in part 6 and steven in jason goes to hell tommy is an example of a final guy done right. i always felt like he was in over his head and that made him easier to relate to steven had glasses and they thought that would distract that he acted like he walked in from a different genre, jumping out of handcuffs making action movie quips in serious scenes joking around with his cop buddy while people are dying. he was an example of a final guy done bad now both movies had a girl ultimately stop jason but thats just series tradition as megan and jessica were not the protagonists of their films hell jessica doesn even show up until 40 minutes into jason goes to hell --- yusketeer ...
