Not the optimal way to play it, but even as someone who likes UDG more than most it's definitely not worth buying twice...like I did. DR3 is an anime and is indeed not the same as the 3rd actual mainline game, V3, which I would also say is the best entry in the franchise. DR3 is....I'm sure someone else will state otherwise so definitely feel free to go into it with your own open mind, but I personally think it's not only bad, but a detriment to the franchise as a whole.
