Honestly, for PvE pushing all you really need to do is switch Karyl for Chika and Pecorine for Miyako.

Also, if Yui isn't doing too great with healing I'd recommend switching her out for Yukari. Yukari gets a strong single target heal and a TP regen for an ally as well as magic resistance for her ult.

It was my plan to build up others (Dungeons and Princess Arena necessitate needing multiple parties), I just didn't know how to prioritize beyond "one/two physical and magical tanks, one group and single target healer". DPS is a bit more scattered though because some are ranged glass cannons while others are frontline bruisers, and then there's single/AOE targeting, and *then* physical/magical damage, and *then then* other utility like status effects or buffs/debuffs.

Skip tickets give potions and bond boosting food to use in the guildhouse, so you don't totally lose out. If you tap on an enemy's icon during the stage selection, it'll tell you if they're physical or magical, and where they tend to attack so you can position your characters better.

Yeah, I noticed the potions and food, but I wasn't sure if the trade-off for skipping was comparable to doing it myself. Some gacha be like that where "quick = stingy" as if having finite skipping wasn't jerkish enough (though PriConne seems pretty generous with the skip tickets so far).

I've mentioned it before that rank X with full equipment gives better stats than rank X+1 with no equipment or only 1-2 pieces. The only exception might be going from rank 6 to rank 7, because rank 7 unlocks a girl's EX skill that gives a massive stat boost once you pump mana into leveling it up.

I tried to pace myself with not ranking up until I had the next set of gear ready ...but unlocking new skills was too tempting so now I'm kinda stuck on rank 4 with gear pieces in a couple of slots.

The road to rank 7 will probably be a little more patient on my end.

Idunno how to feel about Dragon Quest Tact. I mean, I love DQ. I'm trying to like this but it's not doing anything for me.

Beyond the gameplay being "so-so" I think the other thing holding it back is that, well... unless you're *super* into collecting Dragon Quest monsters and nothing else, you're going to run out of units you want to chase and build real fast.

Hate to say it, but there's a reason why the genre has become 90% waifu and husbando collectors, where even there "F rank" units are at least nice to look at.
