Topic	i like watching foreign films

Akira Kurosawa is the name for the first director you're thinking of! One of my favorites as well. Even if you've never seen his work, you're likely at least familiar with some of the tropes his work introduced, particularly the Rashomon story structure which has been homaged in countless other works. I love all sorts of films, country or place of origin is not important to me.
