Wow, I actually remember this one somehow. I would've thought that it'd be the kind of rhythm song that blends in with the rest. It is pretty stereotypical, which actually works a bit to its advantage. The deviations from the norm, moments in the song that are given more focus, stick out more clearly because of this. Nice drum sample inserts around 2 minutes in, and that intro piano blends in very well with the song picking up (I'd assume that would be where the original transitions to the remix, but who knows with bemani) --- Life before death, strength before weakness, journey before destination ...
