What I mean is that older anime, particular long running shonen shows like Naruto or Bleach, used a model of airing episodes year round and relying on filler arcs when necessary to give the manga time to get ahead. DBS uses the newer model that other shows (My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, etc) use of only animating what's canon and then taking a break to wait for new material to be made. So Super "ended" because it ran out of material. They could have easily just started making actual filler arcs to keep the show going while the Moro arc was being written, but they chose to stop instead. --- "History Is Much Like An Endless Waltz.
