It was a decently powerful/emotional moment that can help develop Nana further, but the relationship between her and Nana was one of the more interesting parts of the story. Having Michiru being gone takes a bit away from it. At least there's still Kyouya I guess. I don't expect a season 2 so I'll probably pick up the manga at this point.
