I'd say Outbreak needs a remaster, not a remake. Leave the gameplay intact, just bring back online, improve the offline AI, and add the new features from File 2 to File 1's scenarios. But yeah, Capcom seem to be under the impression that Resident Evil is a good franchise to base an eSport on. Which is clearly not gonna happen. Heck, Dead Rising would be a way better choice to set a PvP Capcom zombie game in. Imagine a game where you're racing to find valuable objects in a shopping centre while fending off the undead.
