Jackbox 7 defeated Tales from Off-Beat City 13-8 Last of Us 2 defeated Utawarerumono 16-11 The first truly exciting day of the first round! Curse of the Moon 2 and Bugsnax was close the entire match with neither game having greater than a 2-vote lead. Cyberpunk had to produce a last effort comeback to tie with Murder by Numbers at the end of regulation. Finally, even Utawarerumono teased a comeback near the end, but it wasn't meant to be against one of the big GotY winners across multiple sources.
