There's enough in the game to tempt you with an interesting time, but it's undermined by poor optimisations and soulless open world gameplay. I've been enjoying my time with the game on PC, but I'm ready for it to be done. It's reminding me why I don't like playing too many open world games. I want something with a more focused narrative and cohesive world. I would say the main problem is that CDPR overpromised so much about the game without even having an engine that could support their promises ready. In the end they scaled back so hard the game is basically a shell of what they promised. They didn't have enough to flesh out the game. Granted, there is a problem with devs throwing open world into games without making an open world, but that's a different issue with trends. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
