And you do realize you don't always die, right?

You can get a dealth sentence from many other causes at any point in life. I realize you don't always die, but as someone who is chronically ill in a country where healthcare costs are insane, death scares me far less than suffering and poverty. I've spent years battling illness and poverty. When I was a young man. And I felt it only worth going on because I had theoretically better times ahead. If I was older I would prefer the peace of death because I would know for sure I wouldn't get better and the suffering would be eternal. But that's just me.
