TheMikh 01/17/21 5:36:03 AM #7: | uniformity of norms that a cultural/religious bubble necessarily entails has a way of cultivating a higher degree of uniformity with respect to mode of operation in some ways or another that could perhaps be considered "discipline", if not simply because there is no known/acceptable alternative to such for lack of better words; i'm sleepy values of families and educators associated with such institutions also more consistent, so less cognitive dissonance in that regard, and thus less questioning of authority, lending more legitimacy to behavioral norms it tends to fall apart after extended time outside of that community context though speaking from experience --- ...
