I mean, the media absolutely hates him and would both sides the crap out of the contest(this extremist wants to ban Muslims, and this extremist wants to RAISE M-err..YOUR TAXES!!!), but I'm not sure they could have done worse than what they actually did. Bernie also has the benefit of being a clear, concise messenger in a way Clinton never was. '16 Bernie would potentially do worse with black voters, especially older ones though.
