He's an unusual older gentleman with impressive facial hair, a smart seafaring nautical outfit, and a Segway-type vehicle he calls the 'Galactic Scooter'. He explains the HAT-1 journey to us, launching the Hope probe and making it back to earth during the 'HAT-1 Miracle'. The Hope probe returned back to Earth with the desired asteroid samples the day before Clay's murder. Due to budget cuts and reduced staffing, Director Cosmos says they haven't had time to analyze yet but hope to do so soon. The asteroid samples hold plenty of potential for scientific discovery, and also for potential profit. Phoenix notes that Athena seems knowledgeable about space things and she claims to have brushed up on the topics for the case. I suspect Secret Space Nerd. We'll see. She does say "Let's make it so" which I am going to take as a Star Trek: TNG reference. Nicely done, game. We proceed to the Boarding Lounge. We look around a little bit and identify the door to the Launch Pad 1 Corridor. I can't help but think of Launchpad McQuack, from Duck Tales. I have a distinct memory of someone, maybe a friend or family member, was convinced his name was 'Lunchpack'. There was no internet at the time to double check. What a time to be alive. It's weirdly easy to get Det. Fulbright to spill the beans. In fact, he seems to be buttering us up. He talks about the series of events that happened during the bombings, and how he put an emergency ladder out a 4th floor window to get people to safety. It wasn't very stable, he says, but it worked in a pinch. He says that he has some info for us, provided we don't report him to Blackquill. We listen intently about info regarding a witness...
