My mom and cousin(24) with her 2 kids (3 and 4) went to Mexico a week ago they went driving and have been there doing fine with no problem at all. They went to San Luis which is in the middle of Mexico.Im sure plenty get around just fine and plenty get around not so fine. Using one trip as an example of safety in an entire country is silly.
