Jesse Eisenberg comes across as someone who never liked Lex Luthor, never heard of Lex Luthors, and only agreed to use the name Lex Luthor to grab a paycheck. No character has missed the mark by quite so much. This is like going to an archery tournament and shooting one of the judges who is in the opposite direction of the targets.
