I have no issue with someone having gender dysphoria and feeling they were assigned the wrong sex, I get that it happens. This is nothing to do with that and Im not saying people cant feel how they want to about their own gender, and youre wrong for trying to colour it that way.

If I knew someone my whole life and they suddenly told me hey I dont feel like a man, inside Im a woman it would blow my mind and seem weird as fuck

But then Id get over it and accept it. Thats not the kind of thing that people delude themselves into or make up for attention because all around the world society treats trans people very terribly.

Theyd still be someone I cared about and Id respect what they were going through and acknowledge that they needed to be identified a certain way to feel fulfilled in life. At no point would I stop and think to myself But they have a penis! because why should that matter?

Even if it doesnt make sense to you or you personally dont agree, just dismissing the idea and calling it dumb/stupid can be legitimately hurtful if someone reads that at a difficult time.
