Speculating here, but it looks like the Pokedex has some sort of catalogue of different behaviors that you may possibly have to capture yourself. And don't forget about the Album from the first game where you could save any photos that weren't part of your score submissions; I'm sure that that feature will return in a probably bigger form. Oh yeah, I did see one of the tweets mentioning that as you fill up the Pokedex, you'll start seeing new things when you revisit old levels.
