#61. NHL 94, (SNES, 1993)

My first hockey game. I spent hundreds of hours playing this as a kid. I wanted to play as the Sens but they stunk something fierce and being the Penguins was like cheating. My buddy was always the Habs so I ended up being the Rangers of all teams a lot. Oh man my boys Mike Gartner and Esa Tikkanen. The Beezer in net. You can't stop these guys! Because initially I insisted on being my Sens, I lost a ton. I will never forget my first goal. For some reason my buddies goalie had gone out to the faceoff circle and passed it back to Ray Bourque who was in the crease. My buddy frantically cleared the puck, it hit the goalie in the ass and went right back in the net. Andrew McBain for credit for the goal. Great times.
