Its not like overly animated or anything, but it speaks to me. The battles can for sure drag, but there is also a ton of cool hidden stuff in plain sight. That random house on the map that looks like nothing? A WIZARD LIVES THERE! Lots of cool units to get in a variety of ways. Some quite complex.
