King's Quest V: Absence Makes the Heart Go Yonder (Commodore 64/PC - 1990) The first of the King's Quest games to make use of the point and click adventure style that we have all come to know and love. This was just about the only game on my Dad's Commodore 64 that I liked to play because the other Kings Quests had the typing interface that I didn't understand. It's a pretty typical King's Quest with the corny sense of humor and the grinning fantasy references all over. The puzzles force you to think outside the box as you try to solve the mystery of how to get your disappeared castle back!
