#75. Darksiders (PS3, 2010)

This game does 3D Zelda better than Zelda does. I am not the biggest Zelda fan in the world, despite playing almost all of them. Just never really loved the formula or feel. Ocarina is a good game, but I never saw the all time #1 stuff everyone else does. Darksiders though, man talk about fun. Combat is very pleasing and the puzzles and world are excellent. As Bartz said previously, the series sorta goes off the rails later by jumping all over the timeline and changing genres every game. 2 is a diablo style get tons of loot with the Darksiders combat in a more open world. 3 is closer to what we see in Souls type games. Genesis is top down Diablo clone. I am hoping we get Darksiders 4 with gameplay like the original eventually. Would really like to finish the story.
