Mafia: Definitive Edition (PC)

I remember playing this a long time ago and getting really frustrated with it. So I was super surprised that they basically improved everything about it. I never really touched this series in general but I think I might. I'm so averse now to the open-world genre that this railroaded experience was worth it. Gunplay was good and challenging. And the city was amazing. They didn't need to go that far in its overhaul, but they did. It does suffer the same sorta-flaws of LA Noire in that the free mode's collectibles are non-descript and pointless, but at least they were actually something interesting to look at and at least free mode had some side missions too. Beautiful score, beautiful remake/remaster what have you. A proper way to bring an aged game into recent memory.

I will note that there are 2 infamous sequences here that I basically used a Trainer on because I didn't wanna bother. So, just kind of a bummer that got passed along the QA.
