Even if it didn't there's no proof it makes for stronger teams instead of just elevating slacker pokemon up. Some pokemon are simply too weak to front line and ExpShare helps more than leading and swapping in a sort of apprentice program... it's one of the better ways to complete the Pokedex --- "Salt cures Everything!"
