Another bonus aside from combining analog controls with mouse aiming is that certain actions work really well mapped to the trigger buttons rather than keys. Downsides are you'll REALLY want to have a mouse with buttons, and depending on the game you might not have enough to spare (although it's still pretty easy to hit a keyboard key even with a Joy-Con in your hand for non-critical stuff like menus).
