Mid 00s rock was the "The ---" era

The hives
The vines
The white stripes

etc.

mid 90s rock was much better. They actually sounded different from one another, unlike the 00s.

**NOTE: Posting your obscure underground sugg's is NOT indicative of the "decade of..." thing. It's not. That's reserved for radio hits.

@Naysaspace What is this nonsense youre spewing? Regardless whether youre right or wrong on that front (which you most definitely are not, however, not interested in that debate), where did I indicate the music I posted defined the decade? Thats not the purpose of this topic. Did your brain just go whoosh or something? All I did was post some of the songs Im currently listening to that so happen to be from the mid 2000s.

Also, The ___ bands have been a trend since the 50s. How can you be so naive? You cant even attribute the 00s for reviving this trend because you still had bands like The Offspring, The Afghan Whigs, The Cure, The Dismemberment Plan, The Jesus Lizard, The Ataris, The Goo Goo Dolls, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Rentals, The Verve Pipe, The Roots, The Presidents of the United States of America, The Wallflowers.........all from the 90s.
