Undertale: DISBELIEF - Backbone Nominator: rukir 7.4 (7.4/0) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KokMR-gWT6M I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS! Thought it was kind of a generic remix until the panting and straight adaption at 2:28. This seems it covers multiple phases, but the video implies that the whole song is the phase 3 theme. I'm going to pretend that this is, in fact, multiple parts and comment on those individually. Part 1: very dependent on the original song and doesn't do too much to stand out. Some of the added guitar riffs are nice. Better than the other metal arrangements that have already gone out. The frantic part just before the change is cool at first and then you realize that it kind of isn't. Part 2 (2:28): Having something so close to the original for so long after the first segment which wasn't that ambitious is definitely a mistake. The farts are not good. The song loses a lot of momentum here. Part 3 (3:38): Starts very strong with its... Einhander? type instruments. Then after a neat drum loop it starts farting again and reverts back to the less good parts of the beginning. Part 4 (4:23): Echoes the better section of Part 2, with a somewhat forced sansing, though I dunno if I've ever heard it slowed down like this outside of me messing around with my mp3 player in 2015, and it works. Again, it keeps going too long. The Bonetrousle/sans portion at the end is nice. Overall, not as original as I would like a fangame song that doesn't state that it's a remix to be. Fairly mixed between parts that might reach 8 and parts hovering around high 6. Would've been a good pick for the UNDERMINERS though Who cares?. REFLEC BEAT groovin'!! - City Never Sleeps Nominator: @kaonashi 7.4 (7.4/0) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1hJRNuf978 I've listened through groovin now, and this didn't make the cut. It's probably on the upper echelon of songs that didn't make it. It's fairly good, just a lot of the flourishes that Dirty Androids likes to do like those vocal samples take away from the song.
