#90. God of War (PS4, 2018)

Dad of Boy. Fun fact, Kratos says Boy 18672 times in this game. I was never huge on the original series, but did play all of them. God of War 3 was my favorite because for games like this I want it as shiny as possible, and 3 was very shiny. Then this game came out and completely changed the series and was so much better for it. The combat is still very mashy but not as much square to win. The axe, oh man the axe. It feels so good to throw the axe. Sexual. The story is the usual obscenely over the top stuff you expect from the series. Ya know stuff like literally killing God. The twist at the end has me interested in what a sequel might do.



GoW 2018 > 3 > GoS > CoO > 2 > 1
