That's your perspective, it's far more nuanced than that. what you are saying is that native americans are simply american. they can pass on their culture but they should no longer be recognized as an indigenous people. the us gov can take back all their land and have full say what to do with it. The US has decided to allow Indigineous Americans to be recognized and they get to live on their Reservations. If they want to be "Indigenous Americans", they can. They have their own criteria for what it means to be "Indigenous" including ancestral purity tests. That's their own issue at that point. They should be happy that the US government has agreed to that.
