Mikan volunteers to do the autopsy since shes good at medical stuff, but when I try to talk to her about it we instead get a flashback of her throwing her hoo-ha in the air again. DAMMIT GAME IM ON A PLANE. I can just imagine the doctor I was sitting next to telling a story when he gets back about the guy playing a porno on the airplane. Gundham is predictably useless. Byakuya is dead but the dude literally refuses to stop looking for his stupid little earring, Priorities, man. We see it between the floorboards, which is probably meant to be a clue that someone can crawl underneath there or something.
OOOOH Byakuya was probably killed from underneath the floorboards. Like someone stuck something through there. He saw the glowing knife and when he was grabbing it they started stabbing away. if thats true though why didnt he say ouch or owwie or hey stop stabbing me? He didnt die instantly from a knife stab.
Hmmm. Was Byakuya trying to kill someone maybe? Like he smuggled the knife in and was going to use it on someone when he got killed himself? So basically a repeat of case 1 of the first game!
Byakuyas secret second case has survivor gear in it. Just what the hell were you planning, big fat Byakuya? Why all the survival gear? Hosting a big party like this and making sure no one was armed but bringing a huge kit of random survival stuffthis sounds like he was planning to murder everyone.
Fake protagonist wants me to come with him to finish the investigation. Probably to murder me if I start getting too close to the answer. RUN HAJIME DONT FOLLOW HIM!

There are three irons in the back room that fake protagonist claims where running when he checked back there for Byakuya. Aha! So the murderer will be the guy wearing that really nice, freshly pressed shirt, eh?
There is a bloody tablecloth in the clothes bin and fake protagonist is like oh if you think its a clue maybe it is haha who knows lets leave, right? while rapidly shifting his eyes back and forth and sweating profusely. Yeah, totally not suspicious at all!
Bathrrom is still locked. Either this is a clue or someone has really bad diarrhea.
We try to talk to Peko and at first shes all like look, I know how this looks but I really didnt do anything but then is immediately like POOP I MUST POOP. Haha Im beginning to think this whole who has to poop thing might be a clue! Like maybe someone poisoned some people? Both Nekomura and Peko got some bad shellfish? Although it did already tell me only Peko and Akane got food. HMMMM.
Peko probably didnt do it because the game keeps throwing her in my face as a suspect. Maybe she just wasnt guarding the room because of diarrhea and not murderrea!
We check Byakuyas place and notice a very threatening note in which someone told Byakuya that someone will definitely die tonight. I like how Byakuyas plan is not to warn us but to gather everyone in a very small space with the murderer. Great idea, Byakuya! The game is like oh he did this because if he told us the truth we might start to lose trust in each other." Psst. Byakuya's corpse. Psst. Ahem. THERE IS SOMEONE WE SHOULDNT BE TRUSTING THOUGH AND NO AMOUNT OF CAKE WILL FIX THAT. Maybe he just wanted to play charades where he would act out one of us plans to kill someone tonight. Always had a flair for the dramatic, that one.
Fake protagonist excuses himself to dostuffand Im sure it is nothing evil and he wasnt being intentionally elusive for no reason!
We find Chiaki checking under the house to make sure there was no way to get under there from outside (good idea) and Gundham trying to force he was under to find that five cent earring he lost (not good idea). Chiaki you are mildly competent take five Suprak respect points. Oh, also we find the mini-Mafia guy. He was apparently just wandering around outside in an effort to make himself look like as much as a red herring as possible.
We get a map of where everyone is standing during the murder and Nekomura finally is able to take his poop. Both of these are clues. Both. Even the poop thing. Never thought the time it would take someone to poop would be a clue in this game, but hey, what do I know.
We make our way to the beach for the first class trial. WOOOOOOOO ABOUT TIME HYPE HYPE HYPE. The good news is I dont know who the killer is this time. Not having your name written upside down at the crime scene already makes this culprit more capable than Leon!
Current money is on Nagito for murderer, but there are still things I havent pieced together yet. Like, I think Byakuya was lured under there by someone who put the glow in the dark tape up there so Byakuya would see it and investigate. Although it is kind of dumb for someone to have made that a knife, I guess. Couldve just put the tape and it still would have glowed.
Lots of parallels to first game. Interesting to see how this will play out.
