I can see what 2016 Suprak was saying, but I think old me was taking things too seriously. Gundham is fun precisely because of the stuff I was complaining about. The fact that he goes on these insane tangents about the nature of humanity and the fires of chaos or whatever, and is just a dude that is really, really into hamsters makes him weird and funny and kinda endearing.

I mean, I'd rather have him than someone like Peko who is just sort of a boring filler character that doesn't add anything to the scenes she's in. I don't mind someone like, say, Mahiru, who even though they don't have this big outlandish personality, still feel like they have a well established character with fun or interesting stuff to say.

I do agree with past Suprak that Fuyuhiko just kinda sucks so far. I feel like they were trying to make another Byakuya but Byakuya was already here and they completely missed what made Byakuya fun to hate in the early chapters last game. He was intimidating in terms of his personality and intellectually. Fuyuhiko comes off as kinda a bully, but not even a good bully. He doesn't scare me because a little kid mob boss without the mob backing him is just kinda a spaz that is screaming about how tough he is with nothing to back it up. Think Joffrey Baratheon except Joffrey Baratheon works at a grocery store. I also don't really like his character design.
