Not that they were necessarily the worst songs on average or anything, or that any stood at as physically painful. It's just that it's the highest concentration of ""oh my god I don't care"" in this ranking. It was a such a slog to get through, especially seeing as half of them were from series I define as ""dreary"". If you're not gonna go with an obscure favorite to nom a lot of songs from, please spread out the style of your nominations so I don't have to listen to 8 boring orchestral songs in a row that don't do anything interesting from franchises I already know that I don't like going in, and if you are going to do that, be like Rufus and have your songs be so nothing I could skip before even listening and nail what my write-up would've been. The worst part of my Battle Theme rankings were the string of songs that were decent but I didn't care about. You have single-handedly replicated that.
