16. Teruteru Hes a fat little pervert. They might have killed him even before Monokuma showed up with the stipulations, honestly.
15. Hiyoko Complete psychopath. Shell have skinned Teruteru and be wearing it as a suit by the time Monokuma finishes updating the ebooks.
14. Fuyuhiko Abrasive, annoying little guy with an anger problem? Yeah, Im sure hell last long. Hell probably try to kill someone else and fail so badly he kills himself instead. This is why you dont let infants into death games, folks.
13. Kazuichi Of all the characters, this dude was the most forgettable. I had to go back to the beginning of this sentence to even remember who I was talking about. He has crazy shark teeth and red eyes. He looks like the pre-teen version of some Batman villain as hed appear on Gotham. If I asked someone to draw me a murderer, theyd draw Kazuichi and Id be satisfied.
12. Peko I feel like shell take the role of Sayaka in being the BIG TOUGH WOMAN that inevitably dies to show us stuff is getting serious and no one is safe. Everyone will be like oh no but she had a sword who could work their way through that mystery mystery mystery
11. Sonia And I feel like shes taking on the role of idealistic good character that loses her mind and starts murdering everyone once she snaps. She was hamming up that whole jeez Ive never had friends before kawaii eeeeee thing before the game really started so it could present us with the undeniably good character. Dont fall for it folks.
10. Gundham His special ability is he makes hamsters have sex with each other. You know who else could pull that off? Everyone. Thats literally all hamsters do. Its like someone got in as the ultimate horse whisperer because he went up to a horse and said hey you, be a horse. Plus, hes wearing a scarf. Thats +2 to fashion, sure, but we all know how garbage it is for real defense.
9. Ibuki She has pink eyes and her hair makes weird devil horns. Not a good sign.
8. Mahiru That photography thing is going to be worked into a murder somehow. Like, either shes going to try and pass it off as evidence when she commits a murder, or (more likely) shell die, get a half distorted image of her attacker and that will wind up being the pivotal clue.
7. Nekomaru I remember last game when I saw Mondo I was like no way is that guy a murderer hes way to obvious but then the game was like lol we know right, were doing it anyway. This time Im not falling for it though, so huge enormous dude that looks like he can kill someone with his bare hands will absolutely kill someone with his bare hands. Unless thats what they want me to think. UNLESS that is actually what they want me to think. Unless
6. Mikan Her face just has the constant expression of someone who knows theyre about to die. She always looks like Charlie Brown the second Lucy pulls the football away from him. In this analogy though, her murderer is Lucy and the football is the still beating heart, from her chest. It makes sense if you think about it.
5. Nagito Holding on to him being to big secret bad guy that no one suspects because hes so plain looking. THATS EXACTLY WHY HES THE FINAL BIG BAD HERE GUYS
4. Hajime - unless the bad guy is actually me. That whole jeez I dont remember could be plot related amnesia so he cant remember hes actually been evil until the very end.
3. Chiaki Shes an attractive female, which bodes well for her survival. Also, she was so wrapped up in games she didnt even notice me talking to her. Theres a good chance everyone will be murdering everyone and shell be up in her room playing Bomberman oblivious to it all.
2. Akane If there is anything the last game showed us, it is busty gals that are athletic do quite well in these things.
1. Byakuya If there is one other thing the last game showed us, it is that guys that are Byakuya also do quite well in these things. Now that theres twice as much as him, he should do twice as well!

Woops ok so I was way off. Byakuya as 1 is embarassingly bad, but at least I got Teruteru close to the bottom! I'm going to count that as a point.

I won't change these up because I feel like these are more authentic, but having played through it again I would definitely drop Akane a bunch because she feels pretty generic compared to everyone else, both in design and personality. Probably move both Mahiru and Gundham up some as well.

2016 Suprak actually makes some good points here, and I do think Sonia going crazy or Peko getting murdered to establish how real things are makes a lot of sense. Someone like Peko/Akane/Nekomaru will likely get murdered at some point to establish just how serious things are because "oh no someone big and strong got killed but HOW?" And then someone like Sonia/Ibuki/Chiaki is likely a murderer to show "even the silly/innocent character is at risk of DESPAIR".
